December is not a big month for weddings. But this December we were pretty busy with shooting corporate holiday parties and engagement sessions. One of these "engagement sessions" was actually part of a series of shoots put together by the PhotogShootout group. PhotogShootout is a group of photographers that get together to network, learn, help each other grow their business, and of course shoot! The December shoot was held in Claremont, CA. Rob and I had never been to Claremont before, but we were both amazed by how cute and quaint the downtown area is. Any of our brides and grooms still looking for a place to shoot their engagement session? This may be a great place :)
The scene below was shot at the Claremont Train Station. I LOVED the costuming and make-up for this shoot. I especially loved the awesome vintage red coat, the headband, and the suitcase.
Rob and I were so excited about these photos, that we actually ordered our first sample album. Thanks to all the organizers of the event. Thanks Steven and Alissa! You were awesome models!
Here are some of the spreads that were included:

Great shots. I like the images, the outfits, but most of all the location. They look like a cute couple. Love the last shot. Has to be Robert's, he is the only one I know willing to lay down on the tracks.
Great shoot!!!!
(01.05.10)Thanks for the comments Mark! Oddly enough, I was feeling quite adventurous that day. Rob was the one safely on deck on the appropriate side of the fence, while I was the one on the tracks. Surprising- I Know :)
