Jessica Claire and J Star were great hosts and speakers for the Smug meeting in Costa Mesa. It was so flippin hard to get a chance to say what's up. Well... they are after all celebrities. The room was packed full and everyone wanted a lil photo love from the both of them. While I didn't get to talk to everyone there I did see Regis Chen, Brian Khang, and Jeff Norwood there. 

A new addition to the family came today. We brought the camera along for some very casual pictures when we visited them. Mommy, daddy, and Sean were very tired. Sean's older brother was so excited to see his new friend that he wanted both Mommy and brother to come home right away. He was sad when we told him they couldn't go home yet.  Happy Birthday Sean!

Mom and Dad must be super happy to be blessed with such a cute baby. Jessica and I spent a few hours with baby Alexis and her parents for some fun in the park; afterward, we headed to their house hoping to catch Alexis sleeping, but she is one ball of energy! Maybe next time... we'll get to capture her catching some Zzzz's.

Years of study have gone into our academic careers and as of June, Jessica and I have finally graduated!!

Jessica graduated from Chapman University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate, adding another degree to her arsenal; she also has a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/TV/Film and Criminal Justice (stupid overachiever...)

A week later, it was my turn to walk down the aisle to receive my Bachelors in Biological Sciences and minor in Entrepreneurship.

Now that we're done, it's time for the fun to begin. We'll be posting up maternity and baby portraits soon! In the meantime, here's a few photos from each of our ceremonies and us having fun with Jessica's sister Tina, as the photographer.

When choosing a location for an engagement session it is vital to keep in mind who the couple is, how their love story began and what they are all about. Ricky and Vanessa are an outgoing couple with great personalities and a unique vintage style. For this reason, Old Towne Orange with all of its history, character, and charm was the perfect place to shoot Vanessa and Ricky's engagement photos. With Old Towne Orange as the backdrop we were able to catch a glimpse of the love that has grown over their eight year relationship . At the train station, this couple really started to shine. As Vanessa's hair blew in the wind from the speed of the passing train, we could really see how this couple feels about each other through the look in Ricky's eyes. Congratulations Ricky and Vanessa! We wish you the best!
