Jessica and Craig held their wedding at the beautiful Turnip Rose Promenade Gardens in Costa Mesa, CA.

Jessica and Craig had such a wonderful wedding day. The day began when they each arrived at the Turnip Rose to get ready. They ready in their private bridal suites, and once all dolled up they headed to their “first look”. The “first look” was awesome because there is a mini vineyard nearby, and it was such a fantastic and romantic spot for them to see each other for the first time on their wedding day!  We absolutely love Craig’s smile when he first saw Jessica! So sweet.

They held their ceremony in the lovely outdoor garden gazebo. We really enjoyed how engaged their family was during the ceremony. Such loving attention and expressions. And it didn’t hurt that the ring bearer and flower girl were SUPER adorable!

We feel so incredibly honored to have been invited to share in this day and get to meet Jessica and Craig’s friends and family.

There were many special moments throughout the day. A few of our favorites were when we got to take romantic bridal portraits with Jessica and Craig.  As a couple, they have this fantastic blend of sophisticated and glamorous while also sweet and romantic which we adore!

We also had the honor of creating their wedding video. We will share the video here once it’s ready. Stay tuned.

Evelyn and Dennis held their beautiful wedding at the Westin Pasadena on the 4th of July. It was definitely a warm day, but Evelyn and Dennis were such good sports and braved the heat for lots of photo opportunities.

We first met Evelyn and Dennis when we were introduced to them by Candace at Love is Sweet Events. When we first met we noticed what a super sweet, funny, and adorable couple they were. We had such a blast with them at their UCLA engagement session where we even got to meet their “pet” wombat Chuckster! (Chuckster even made a few cameo appearances throughout their wedding day. So awesome!)

Robert and I enjoyed the wedding day so much and even got to see some fireworks at the end of the night!

We are soooo excited to share our first styled engagement and pre-wedding session of 2015! We have been working with Mai and Alex over the last few months to coordinate outfits, discuss potential locations, design the color palette, theme, and overall feel of their shoot. Mai and Alex did a fabulous job of researching and selecting each component of their attire over the last several months. Robert and I loved Mai’s modern teal and black dress with black pea coat and Alex’s coordinating (but not too matchy) jeans, teal sweater, and black coat. This created a sophisticated and classy look for their woodsy photos in the hills of Big Bear.

For the pre-wedding photos, Mai and Alex wanted to go for a more vintage theme. We worked together to achieve a romantic and glamorous feel incorporating candles, twinkle light signs, elements of fur, custom florals designed just for them by Petal to the Meadow, and a vintage couch made in 1887. The color palette blended tones of teal/aqua. ivory, blush, and grey.  Mai’s beautiful gown and fur were the perfect choice, and she looked stunning in it! Alex (aka “Tom Cruise” LOL) looked pretty dapper in his dark grey suit and tie too 🙂

We started the day in a forest area in search of snow, beautiful light, and laughter. We then spent a few minutes in The Village, and headed over to the lake for a sunset session. We had so much fun with these two that we stayed until the night went dark and the stars came out.
