I absolutely love Nixon Library weddings! Robert and I even looked into the Nixon Library for our wedding during our venue search back in 2006. So I always have a special place in my heart for these weddings. I was so grateful and excited when friend and colleague Michael Fletcher invited me to document Erica and Jamie’s wedding with him.

It was a very hot day for their wedding, but the bride and groom were such troopers and stuck out the heat for some lovely bridal portraits.

Laurel and Mike were married at the SeaCliff Country Club in Huntington Beach. We loved the way Mike & Laurel looked at each other the entire day.  They are a beautiful couple and we are so honored to have been a part of their day!

We had an awesome time photographing this couple at Griffith Park Observatory recently. Our Los Angeles Engagement session started along the trails of Griffith Park and we finished the evening at the Observatory. There were a lot of crowds that day, but it was good that we had some tricks up our sleeve!

This couple is so cute and we adore their smiles. They are so easy going that it wasn’t difficult at all to capture the essence of their love.

Sunsets are so romantic. This moment is perfection frozen in time. 

We had several dress changes throughout the session which is something that we encourage our brides and grooms to do when they book our multi hour coverage. This way we can play around with different looks and have fun!

One reason why we love engagement photography is because we get to play and execute our vision without the time pressures from a wedding day. Below are our most favorite!

Night portraits are so fun because of the drama. Rob and I love photographing at night because although it is more challenging, it is also very rewarding.
